We are seeking a Lead Software Engineer for our Global Wealth Management Technology (GWMT) division. GWMT develops and modernizes technology supporting the Global Wealth Management business lines, with agile teams delivering and maintaining various applications and ecosystems.
Role Responsibilities:
- Champion a customer-focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader bank systems and knowledge.
- Develop microservices in cloud environments (Google Cloud, Microsoft Azure).
- Implement projects and integrate applications.
- Create technical documentation of solutions.
- Support production issues and escalations during release cycles.
- Mentor team members in best coding practices.
- Troubleshoot technical issues to identify root causes.
- Provide expert advice to stakeholders.
- Consider the bank's risk appetite in daily activities.
- Promote a high-performance, inclusive work environment.
Candidate Requirements:
- Minimum 7 years of experience as a Java developer.
- Experience building scalable enterprise technology stacks with Java, SOAP, JSON, and other tools.
- Proficiency in application architecture and API design.
- Experience with Microservices and Spring Boot.
- Knowledge of Cloud Foundry and Kubernetes.
- Experience across all SDLC phases.
- Proficiency with Unix tools, shell scripting, SQL, PL/SQL, and SQL Loader.
- Experience developing security systems and analyzing vulnerabilities.
- Familiarity with version control and build tools like Git, Jenkins, Maven.
- Ability to adapt to various frameworks and new technologies.
- Understanding of Agile principles and wealth management concepts.
