We are seeking a Lead Software Engineer to join our Global Wealth Management Technology (GWMT) team. GWMT develops and modernizes technology that supports the Global Wealth Management business lines, consisting of agile teams delivering, supporting, and maintaining various applications and ecosystems within Global Wealth.

Responsibilities include:

• Champion a customer-focused culture to strengthen client relationships and leverage broader bank systems and knowledge.
• Design and deliver microservices in cloud environments such as Google Cloud and Microsoft Azure.
• Implement projects and integrate applications.
• Create technical documentation for solutions.
• Support production issues and handle escalations during release cycles.
• Mentor team members on technical best practices and coding standards.
• Troubleshoot and identify root causes of technical issues.
• Provide expert advice to stakeholders.
• Consider the bank’s risk appetite and culture in daily activities and decisions.
• Foster a high-performance and inclusive work environment.

Qualifications:

• At least 7 years of experience as a Java developer.
• Experience building scalable enterprise technology stacks with Java, SOAP, JSON, and other tools.
• Knowledge of application architecture and API design.
• Proficiency in building Microservices and Spring Boot.
• Experience with Cloud Foundry and Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Proficiency with Unix tools, shell scripting (Bash, Perl, Python), SQL, PL/SQL, and SQL Loader.
• Experience developing security systems and analyzing vulnerabilities.
• Experience with version control and build tools like Git, Bitbucket, Jenkins, Maven.
• Understanding of Agile principles and adaptability to evolving environments.
• Knowledge of wealth management concepts and workflows.
