About L3Harris WESCAM Division

As a subsidiary of L3Harris Technologies and within the Integrated Mission Systems Segment, the WESCAM division develops the most advanced optical sensor and targeting systems for global defense and military sectors, National Security, Search & Rescue, and Airborne law enforcement agencies. From long-range covert surveillance missions to search and rescue operations, our MX-series systems and the mission systems solutions they are part of produce stabilized high-magnification electro-optical and infrared images from airborne, marine, and ground-based platforms, enabling our customers to see first and act first.

About the Role

The role involves developing, interpreting, and implementing financial concepts for planning and analysis. It includes performing technical analysis to determine current and future financial performance, gathering and analyzing data, preparing recommendations, and providing reports to leadership. The position requires coordinating and consolidating large data sets across various finance routines.

Primary Responsibilities

1. Prepare all Financial Planning and Analysis reporting required by Finance, including developing analytics, recommending reporting improvements, and supporting corporate reporting related to balance sheets and cash.
2. Support and improve the Monthly Financial Review (MFR) process by building relationships with key users and analyzing net working capital drivers and KPIs (DSO, DIO, DPO).
3. Compile and analyze receipts and disbursements forecasts, understanding major drivers, risks, and opportunities.
4. Prepare, coordinate, and consolidate various analyses and reports, proposing solutions for review.

Required Capabilities

• Ability to work independently on non-routine tasks requiring judgment, ownership, and initiative.
• Intermediate skills in MS Office software; familiarity with HFM and SmartView reporting is an asset.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data interpretation skills.
• Financial modeling and statement analysis skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines.
• Continuous improvement mindset; experience in planning & budgeting and knowledge of Power Query, Tableau, Power BI are assets.

Desired Education and Experience

• Proficient in the relevant job area; practical project management knowledge is a plus.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Economics, Finance, or Accounting, or a College Diploma with at least 4 years of relevant experience.
• Graduate Degree or 0-2 years of experience; or 8+ years of experience in lieu of a degree.
