Job description

As a Truck Driver, you will be part of the team that provides delivery services for our customers, displaying the highest standards of safety and excellent customer service. You will be responsible for monitoring truck maintenance and keeping driver’s record requirements such as daily checklists. This job can be physically demanding.

Qualifications
  1. Ability to lift up to 55lbs
  2. Proven work experience as a delivery driver
  3. Valid driver’s license class #
  4. Ability to work in all weather conditions, in a fast-paced and dynamic workplace
  5. Self-motivated, punctual, reliable, and safety-oriented
  6. Grade 12 diploma or equivalent
  7. Effective written and oral communication skills (Bilingual English/French will be considered an asset)
  8. Basic hand tool skills
  9. Must have a safety mindset
  10. Able to do physical work
Responsibilities
  1. Deliver materials to private homes and construction sites safely. Materials include windows and doors, cement, shingles, and other building materials.
  2. Work in the lumber yard, warehouse, and store actively helping customers.
  3. Load and unload products.
  4. Prepare trucks for loading and assist warehouse staff as required.
  5. Ensure proper vehicle maintenance and safety.
  6. Maintain contact with dispatch and work to resolve any issues.
  7. Verify load security and accuracy.
  8. Report defects, violations, accidents, or injuries.
  9. Maintain professional behavior.
  10. Follow all safety regulations, company policies, and procedures.
  11. Perform other duties as assigned by the manager.
