The role:
As a PPM Data Analytics & Power BI Specialist, you will extract, analyze, and visualize data from Clarity PPM and other sources to provide stakeholders with insights into project performance, resource utilization, and portfolio management. You will design BI dashboards and reports to enhance business and operational efficiency, collaborating with various stakeholders to understand their needs and deliver tailored Power BI solutions that adhere to quality standards.
What will you do?
- Data Modeling and Transformation: Extract and clean data from Clarity PPM and other systems, perform analysis to identify trends and KPIs, and design data models.
- Dashboard and Report Development: Develop and maintain dashboards and reports using Power BI, supporting real-time insights into project and resource metrics.
- Data Integration & Building Solutions: Understand data from various sources to create comprehensive views of project and portfolio performance, building stakeholder solutions.
- Performance Optimization: Optimize reports and queries for speed and efficiency, especially with large data volumes.
- Data Quality: Implement data validation processes to ensure accuracy and integrity.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with project managers and leaders to understand and translate reporting needs into BI solutions, managing expectations and prioritizing initiatives.
- Documentation and Training: Document BI solutions and provide user training and support.
What do you need to succeed?
- Bachelor's degree in relevant fields.
- 4+ years as a Power BI developer and data engineer, preferably in financial services.
- 3+ years working with Clarity PPM, preferably in financial services.
- Strong analytical, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Experience with data modeling, SQL, and relational databases.
- Knowledge of software lifecycle, project management, and financial processes.
- Proven experience developing dashboards in Power BI.
- Understanding of financial metrics, risk management, and regulatory reporting.
- Familiarity with cloud data platforms and relevant certifications.
