Job description

As a Long-Term Occasional Teacher (LTO) for DDSB, you will create a vibrant and supportive learning environment where students thrive. You will bring your passion for teaching to the classroom, guiding students through their educational journey and fostering a love for learning.

Key Responsibilities

1. Develop and deliver engaging lessons that align with the curriculum and support student learning.
2. Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback to help students grow.

1. External hires can take up to 10 working days to be processed, which could affect the start date for this position.
2. A Long Term Occasional Teacher may not rescind a Long Term Assignment for the purpose of applying for and accepting a different Long Term Assignment. An OT who is in a Long Term Assignment may accept more than one Long Term Assignment as long as acceptance of one does not require rescinding another. However, rescinding a Long Term Assignment to apply for a permanent position is permitted.
