Job description

As a Long-Term Occasional Teacher (LTO) for DDSB, you’ll create a vibrant and supportive learning environment where students thrive. You’ll bring your passion for teaching to the classroom, guiding students through their educational journey and fostering a love for learning.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and deliver engaging lessons that align with the curriculum and support student learning.
  2. Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback to help students grow.
  3. Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment where every student feels valued.
  4. Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and the community to enhance student learning.
  5. Adapt teaching methods and materials to meet the diverse needs of students.

  2. Required subject qualifications: Primary/Junior Qualifications
  3. FTE: 1.0
  4. Ontario teaching certificate (OCT) in good standing
