Our Donation Centre plays a key role in fulfilling this mission, and we are seeking an experienced Donation Centre Manager to lead our team in a dynamic, fast-paced, and mission-driven environment.

Position Overview

The Donation Centre Manager will oversee the end-to-end operations of our donation centre, ensuring the efficient management of donated goods, inventory control, logistics, and staff management. We are looking for a candidate with a strong background in retail or nonprofit operations, who thrives in a leadership role and is passionate about making a positive impact in the community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and motivate the donation centre team, setting performance goals and driving results through Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Oversee all aspects of donation processing, including sorting, pricing, and distribution of donated goods.
  • Develop and implement effective supply chain strategies to ensure timely and cost-efficient operations.
  • Manage inventory, minimize waste, and ensure the proper handling of donations.
  • Provide excellent customer service, maintaining positive relationships with donors, volunteers, and other stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with Finance to establish budgets and track performance metrics.
  • Maintain a safe and organized work environment in compliance with health and safety protocols.
  • Lead recruitment and staff development efforts to build a high-performing team.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 5 years of management experience in retail, nonprofit, or supply chain operations.
  • Strong understanding of warehouse operations, logistics, and inventory management, preferably in environments where inventory is constantly changing or unpredictable.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Proven leadership skills and the ability to manage and develop high-performing teams.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Passion for social impact and commitment to the mission of WINS.
