Role Responsibilities
- Lead the development of the Loyalty Engine and integrations, both externally (via APIs / Events) and within Salesforce (e.g., trigger emails), working alongside the wider team.
- Support the creation and deployment of email marketing campaigns by collaborating with stakeholders to identify objectives, KPIs, and target audiences.
- Assist the business unit with new requirements and features, providing technical support related to Marketing Cloud.
- Maintain ongoing Salesforce Marketing Cloud support, enhancements, and system integrations.
- Provide Salesforce expertise and knowledge transfer, including training stakeholders to enhance results and customer engagement.
- Design and implement complex customer journeys using Journey Builder, leveraging automation for seamless experiences. Develop and manage content on Cloud Pages and Web Studio, including form captures and data integration.
- Create and maintain AMPscript for dynamic content personalization in emails and landing pages.
- Develop and manage email templates and content blocks in Email Studio and Content Builder.
- Ensure all solutions adhere to security, privacy, and compliance standards.
- Provide training and support to marketing team members on best practices and new features.
Technical Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of Marketing Cloud development experience, including at least 2 years working with Loyalty Cloud.
- Deep understanding of Salesforce Loyalty & Marketing Cloud features, functionalities, and best practices.
- Proficiency with Salesforce APIs (REST and SOAP) for system integrations.
- Strong knowledge of Lightning Components, Apex, and Visualforce tailored for Loyalty Cloud.
- Experience integrating Loyalty Cloud with other systems (ERP, CRM, marketing tools) using middleware or custom solutions.
- Proficiency in Loyalty / Marketing Cloud reporting tools (Reports, Dashboards).
- Experience with Salesforce Data Loader, SOQL, SOSL, and writing/optimizing complex SQL queries for ETL processes.
- Understanding of security best practices in Loyalty Cloud, including user permissions, profiles, and roles.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices, including CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Git) and version control systems (Git, SVN) for Loyalty Cloud projects.
