Role Responsibilities
- Working alongside the wider team, lead the development of the Loyalty Engine and integrations both externally (through APIs/Events) and within the Salesforce domain (i.e. trigger emails etc.)
- Support the development and deployment of email marketing campaigns including:
- Working with stakeholders to identify objectives, KPIs, and target audience
- Support the business unit with any new requirements/features, along with supporting any technical questions/support they need in relation to Marketing Cloud
- Ongoing Salesforce Marketing Cloud support, enhancements, and system integrations
- Provide Salesforce expertise and knowledge-transfer: Support and equip stakeholders with Salesforce expertise (Loyalty and Marketing Cloud) and training to drive results and customer engagement
- Cloud Pages, Journey Builder & Automations: Design and implement complex customer journeys using Journey Builder, leveraging automation for seamless customer experiences. Develop and manage content on Cloud Pages and Web Studio, including form captures and data integration.
- AMPscript Development: Create and maintain AMPscript for dynamic content personalization in emails and landing pages.
- Email Studio & Content Builder: Develop and manage email templates and content blocks in Email Studio and Content Builder.
- Security & Compliance: Ensure that all solutions adhere to security, privacy, and compliance standards.
- User Training & Support: Provide training and support to marketing team members on best practices and new features.
Technical Requirements
- 5 years of Marketing Cloud development experience with a minimum of 2 years experience working with Loyalty Cloud.
- Expertise in Salesforce Loyalty & Marketing Cloud: Deep understanding of both Loyalty Cloud and Marketing Cloud’s features, functionalities, and best practices.
- Experience with Salesforce APIs: Proficiency in integrating Loyalty/Marketing Cloud with other systems using REST and SOAP APIs.
- Lightning Platform Skills: Strong knowledge of Lightning Components, Apex, and Visualforce tailored for Loyalty Cloud.
- Third-Party Integrations with Loyalty Cloud: Experience integrating Loyalty Cloud with other systems (e.g., ERP, CRM, marketing automation tools) using middleware or custom integrations.
- Reporting and Analytics: Proficiency in Loyalty/Marketing Cloud reporting tools (e.g., Reports, Dashboards).
- Data Management: Experience with Salesforce Data Loader, SOQL, and SOSL. Write and optimize complex SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes.
- Security in Loyalty Cloud: Understanding of security best practices, including user permissions, profiles, and roles.
- DevOps Practices: Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, Git) and version control systems (e.g., Git, SVN) for Loyalty Cloud projects.

407 ETR's Information Technology division is responsible for the infrastructure and software to enable the efficient operation of the highway---including toll capture, account management, financials, and data storage/analytics---as well as customer services including call-center, web, IVR and supporting workflows.
