A Snapshot of Your Day

As a Test Facility Engineer, you will be at the heart of successful AGT gas turbine testing. You will work closely with engineering, testers, DAS, and various subcontractors.

This opportunity will broaden your knowledge of operating a gas turbine, from software to mechanical systems, including instrumentation and metrology requirements.

You will investigate and resolve facility system issues during tests, as well as lead maintenance and upgrade programs.

Your profile :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Technical certification
  • Member of the OIQ
  • At least 10 years of relevant experience in mechanical, controls hardware and software, instrumentation, and project management
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and writing skills
  • Autonomous and proactive
  • Collaborative approach and team player
  • French proficiency; English is a plus

Your responsibilities :

  • Technical project lead for test facility upgrade
  • Investigate and resolve test facility issues
  • Provide technical support and advice to the testing team
  • Ensure test facility readiness by monitoring maintenance, calibration, and EHS status
  • Plan and procure test facility spares
  • Produce electrical schematics, P&ID’s, drawings, as required
  • Contribute to the annual OPEX budget
  • Maintain software : DAS, PCS, calibration, etc.
