Early Years Practitioner

Tynecastle Nursery School

Salary : £29, - £33,

Hours : 36 per week, 52 weeks

Tynecastle Nursery is housed within Tynecastle Stadium in a beautiful, purpose built nursery space. Opened originally in , the new nursery continues to be highly regarded within the community. The nursery benefits from a rich social and cultural mix of families and its diversity is one of its main strengths. A highly skilled, dynamic and motivated staff team support the children and families. The nursery is registered for 55 children aged 2-5 years.

We are now seeking to recruit an experienced and motivated Early Years Practitioner to work with us on a permanent basis.

Responsibilities
  • Work shift patterns within the setting, between the hours of 07.45hrs and 18.00hrs, Monday-Friday, with some late shifts on rotation, within each month.
  • Ensure all required qualifications are in place prior to application.
Qualifications & Checks
  • Must meet the qualifications outlined in the attached documentation.
  • Required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check.
  • If a continuous period of 3 months or more out of the UK in the last 5 years, an Overseas Criminal Record Check will be required and must be provided.
  • Unconditional offer and commencement in the post will be subject to satisfactory outcome of these pre-employment checks.

This post is regulated work with children and / or protected adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act.

Additional Information

Our salary range typically reflects the initial starting salary and annually increases until it reaches the top of the range.
