Job summary

WSP in Canada seeks an Environmental Scientist/Environmental Technician in Dartmouth, NS to support monitoring, site investigations, and remediation of contaminated sites across Atlantic Canada.

You'll lead field activities, ensure health and safety plans, collect soil and groundwater samples, and coordinate field logistics to deliver safe, reliable data for project decisions. Travel across Atlantic Canada is required.

Qualifications

• A diploma or bachelor's degree in environmental technology, environmental sciences, engineering, or a related discipline.
• Working knowledge of health and safety practices for environmental field programs.
• Experience or exposure to soil and groundwater monitoring, remediation, borehole drilling, or test pit investigations.
• Ability to maintain accurate field notes, sample documentation, and data that support defensible technical reporting.
• A valid driver's licence and availability to travel across Atlantic Canada for multi-day field assignments.
• Experience supporting Phase I or Phase II Environmental Site Assessments is an asset.

As an Environmental Scientist/Environmental Technician with our Site Assessment and Remediation team in Dartmouth, NS, you'll support the monitoring, investigation, and remediation of contaminated sites across Atlantic Canada. Compensation

• AB, BC, NT, NU, SK & YT: $60,100 - $79,600
• MB & ON: $54,800 - $75,400
• NB, NL, NS, PE & QC: $54,200 - $72,000
