Job summary

UPS Vars is hiring a Part-time Warehouse Worker to support morning operations. This permanent hourly role offers training from day one and a clear path for wage progression. Shifts run Monday to Friday with start times as early as 4:00 AM and finish by 9:00 AM, totaling 3–5 hours per day, up to 25 hours weekly.

Responsibilities include loading/unloading, sorting, scanning, operating conveyors, recognizing postal codes, and maintaining safety. No prior experience required; get trained on the job.

Qualifications

• No prior warehouse experience required.
• Must be reliable and thrive in a fast-paced, physically active environment.
• UPS will train you for everything else.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload packages from container trailers and delivery trucks as part of the daily morning sort.
• Sort and scan packages accurately to ensure proper routing to the correct destinations.
• Operate automated conveyor belts and manual rollers safely throughout the shift.
• Recognize and apply postal codes and routing charts to direct packages efficiently.
• Work inside container trailers and delivery trucks environments as required.
• Maintain a safe, organized workspace while handling packages up to 70 lbs (32 kg) unassisted.
• Follow all set procedures and operational guidelines without exception.
