This is a permanent, hourly position well suited to candidates living in Russell, Embrun, Vars, Limoges, and Metcalfe. No prior experience is required, and full training is provided from day one.

About the Role: Warehouse Worker

Pre-loaders at the Vars UPS facility are responsible for the loading, unloading, sorting, and scanning of packages throughout the shift. You'll work with automated conveyor belts and manual rollers, and you must be comfortable operating inside container trailers and delivery trucks. The shift starts between 4:30 AM and 5:15 AM, and candidates must be able to start as early as 4:00 AM and remain until 9:00 AM, Monday to Friday without exception. Shifts average 3-5 hours per day, up to 25 hours per week, though start and finish times may vary based on operational needs.

Working in a warehouse environment means adapting to changing temperatures and maintaining focus during physically demanding tasks. You'll need to accurately recognize postal codes and routing charts to ensure packages reach the right destinations. Benefits and Salary

UPS offers a competitive hourly wage starting at $18.50, with a guaranteed progression up to $31.49 per hour. Employees are paid weekly every Friday.
