Job summary

ABC Head Start Society seeks an Early Learning Educational Assistant II to join Edmonton classrooms. You will support inclusive learning for ages 3-5 and work with an interdisciplinary team to help every child thrive in a nurturing environment.

Compensation starts at $21.33/hour, with increases based on experience and qualifications. This is a temporary full-time position ending June 30, 2027, with 8-hour days Monday through Friday. Wage-top-up is not offered.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Early Learning or related field required.
• Experience with children with developmental needs is a plus.
• Strong communication and organizational skills essential.
• Knowledge of trauma-informed approaches preferred.
• Commitment to annual Safe Management training.
