Job summary

A leading community resources organization is seeking an Early Childhood Educator to join their Language Programs team in Surrey. The educator will provide a positive learning environment for children in childcare, focusing on planning and implementing educational activities. Ideal candidates will possess an Early Childhood Education Certificate and relevant experience, along with a strong ability to communicate effectively and manage time efficiently.

Qualifications

  • Minimum one year experience working with children aged 0 - 6 years.
  • Infant Toddler Certificate and/or Special Needs Certificate is an asset.
  • Standard First Aid and CPR training; Child Safe training and Food Safe training are assets.

Responsibilities

  • Providing a caring and positive learning environment for children.
  • Planning and implementing daily activities that are developmentally appropriate.
  • Ensuring safety and hygiene of all children while in the center.
