Job summary

The Ottawa-Carleton District School Board in Ottawa, Ontario, seeks a Registered Early Childhood Educator to support play-based learning for Junior and Senior Kindergarten students in a full-day Early Learning Program, under the direction of the Principal and in collaboration with the classroom teacher.

The position leads an extended program before and/or after school at designated elementary schools, with a focus on high-quality development and family engagement.

Qualifications

• Two-year college program in Early Childhood Education or equivalent.
• Registration and good standing with the Ontario College of Early Childhood Educators is required.
• Minimum of one (1) year of child care experience is required.
• Valid First Aid certification/CPR is required.
• Immunization record with MMR and Tdap immunizations is required for OCDSB employment.
• Police Records Check for the Vulnerable Sector within 6 months for new OCDSB employees.

Responsibilities
