Eaglekids Learning Centre – Squamish Ltd in Squamish, Canada is seeking an Early Childhood Educator – Inclusion Teacher (ECE-IT) on a fulltime basis for ASAP start. The role focuses on inclusive education for infants and toddlers, with collaboration among families and staff to support each child's growth.

Hours are Monday to Friday at 40 hours per week, at a wage of CAD 24 per hour, with adherence to all safety and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Education: ECE College Diploma or equivalent.
• Relevant ECE certifications including Infant/Toddler and Special Needs Educator where applicable.
• First Aid certification and suitability checks completed.

Responsabilités

• Develop and implement inclusive lesson plans for diverse children.

Position Title: Early Childhood Educator – Inclusion Teacher (ECE-IT)

Start Date: ASAP

Compensation and Benefits

Hourly Wage: $24 per hour

Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, with 40 hours per week

Functions and Responsibilities

• Developing and implementing inclusive lesson plans that meet the diverse needs of all children.
• Creating a safe and engaging learning environment that promotes physical, social, emotional, and cognitive development.
• Observing and assessing children’s development and progress to inform teaching strategies.
• Collaborating with families, support staff, and other professionals to support each child’s individual needs.
• Facilitating activities that encourage social interactions and peer relationships among children.
• Maintaining a positive and respectful classroom atmosphere that promotes inclusivity and diversity.
• Ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements and best practices in early childhood education.
• Participating in staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities.

Requirements

• Education: ECE College Diploma
• Early Childhood Education (ECE) – IT
• Professional Certificate: Bristish Columbia ECE Certificate + Special Needs Educator
• Certificate + Infant / Toddler Educator Certificate
• First Aid Certicate is required
• Security and safety: Criminal record check
• Transportation/travel information: Public transportation is available
