Responsibilities

• Develop and implement child-care programs supporting physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development.
• Assist early childhood educators in carrying out developmental programs.
• Lead activities such as storytelling, singing, and outings.
• Keep records and observe children for developmental or behavioral issues.
• Encourage creativity through art, music, and play.
• Guide children in proper habits and routines.
• Discuss children's progress in staff meetings and with parents.
• Establish behavior guidelines and maintain a safe, healthy environment.
