Job Description

Outstanding Early Childhood Educator (Director/Program Supervisor)

Responsibilities

1. Create an environment that promotes educational opportunities for infant, preschool, and toddler-aged children by managing and supporting a team of childcare educators.
2. Manage day-to-day daycare activities.
3. Provide support to families.
4. Design and implement daycare programs.
5. Address registration/enrollment/billing inquiries as well as ongoing support for families.
6. Develop, implement, and provide activities for children.
7. Lead by example through interaction, including behavioral management, communication skills, and problem identification and resolution skills.

Required

1. Minimum ECE Level 3; Child Development Supervisor.
2. Current First Aid Certificate.
3. Evidence of Criminal Record Clearance, including Vulnerable Sector Search, within the past 6 months.
4. Five or more years’ experience in a childcare setting and at least two years as a childcare director.
5. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
6. Desire to be creative and innovative.
7. Strong teamwork; willingness to learn; effective time management, administrative, and organizational skills.
8. Creativity and flexibility.
