Job Description
YWCA Metro Vancouver is currently looking for casual on-call Early Childhood Educators to work in childcare centres operated by YWCA Metro Vancouver in the Vancouver area. The Early Childhood Educators will be responsible for providing child care under supervision in addition to the responsibilities listed below.
Wages: $20.90 + Wage Enhancement (if qualified) per hour

Ideally, candidates will have an Early Childhood Education (ECE) certification; however, related work experience and qualifications will be considered. Individuals will be team players interested in maintaining a positive and supportive learning environment. A criminal record check will be required and references will be contacted. Special Needs and Infant/Toddler Certification would be considered an asset.
A valid clear criminal record check (including working with vulnerable populations) is required.
The YWCA Metro Vancouver’s COVID-19 vaccination policy is currently suspended, and as a result, vaccination from COVID-19 is not required at this time. However, should circumstances change and the YWCA deem it necessary to reintroduce such policy, you may be required to provide proof of vaccination against COVID-19 in order to continue performing your duties.
