Job summary

Carrier Sekani Family Services (CSFS) in Burns Lake, BC, is looking for staff to support children with extra needs in a caring child care setting. You will plan daily activities, model positive social interaction, and provide culturally appropriate experiences that support development in a nurturing environment.

The role requires Early Childhood Education basics and related post-basic studies with a minimum of two years’ experience (or equivalent). Basic First Aid Level One is needed.

Qualifications

• Support children with extra support needs to fully participate in the child care setting.
• Encourage and model social interaction with the child(ren)’s peers.
• Plan and implement daily activities and experiences to meet goals and objectives.
• Provide culturally appropriate daily experiences that support and promote the development of all children in the setting.
• Basic First Aid Level One.
