Job summary

WSP seeks an Early Professional in Environmental Engineering, based in St. Catharines, to join a team focused on waste management, hydrogeology, and environmental projects.

You’ll gain hands-on experience through field investigations, monitoring, data interpretation, and reporting across landfills, sites, and geotechnical work. You’ll work with engineers and geoscientists to support project decisions, deliver quality field data, and contribute to responsible environmental solutions while

Qualifications

• A bachelor's degree in environmental engineering, geoscience, geological engineering, or a closely related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to environmental monitoring programs at aggregate sites, landfills, contaminated sites, and other project locations.
• Deliver groundwater, surface water, combustible gas, and soil sampling and testing using established procedures and quality standards.
• Support drilling, test pitting, and other subsurface investigations that help teams understand geological and hydrogeological conditions.
• Collaborate with technicians, geoscientists, and engineers to turn reliable field observations into informed project decisions.
• Produce organized field records and support the management, analysis, and interpretation of chemical, hydrogeological, and geotechnical data.
• Strengthen safe project delivery by following WSP policies, procedures, and site-specific health and safety plans.
