Job summary

New Frontiers School Board is seeking a Daycare Educator to organize and conduct activities for preschool and elementary students, ensuring their health and safety within the program. The role requires a Secondary School Diploma with a Day Care Services attestation, bilingual proficiency, and experience with elementary students; duties include supervision, meals, attendance, and collaboration with parents.

You may assist with homework, perform administrative tasks, and participate in meetings

Qualifications

• Hold a Secondary School Diploma and an Attestation of Vocational Studies in Day Care Services or an equivalent recognized by the competent authority.
• Written and oral proficiency in the two official languages.
• Experience dealing with elementary students.
• Additional studies related to childcare would be an asset.

Responsibilities

• Organize, conduct and participate in indoor/outdoor activities aligned with the educational project.
• Ensure supervision, health, safety, and well-being of students.
• Assist students with dressing, meals, hygiene, and attendance records.
• Inform parents about student behavior and respond to inquiries daily.
• Assist with simple administrative tasks and support teachers as needed.
