Qualifications

• Hold a Secondary School Diploma and an Attestation of Vocational Studies in Day Care Services or an equivalent recognized credential and one year of pertinent experience.
• Experience dealing with elementary students is required.
• Additional studies related to childcare would be an asset.

Responsibilities

• Organize and conduct indoor and outdoor activities for preschool and elementary students.
• Provide supervision to ensure health, safety, and well-being; assist with meals and attendance.
• Support students with schoolwork and maintain a conducive learning environment.
• Attend meetings regarding day care service organization and operations.
• May assist in administrative tasks for the day care service.
