Position: Hourly Teachers - Early Childhood Education (Summer 2025)

Location: Online (region restrictions may apply)

Start Date: May 11, 2025

Responsibilities
  1. Prepare course outlines, classes, labs, and fieldwork activities.
  2. Teach classes, labs, and supervise fieldwork.
  3. Support and supervise students, including exam preparation, invigilation, and grading.
  4. Revise assessments upon student requests.
  5. Teach credited courses within Continuing Education in an online synchronous format using tools such as Microsoft Teams, Léa, and Moodle.
  6. Courses will be scheduled Monday to Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., and 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Courses Offered
  • Nutrition (45 hours): Foundations of healthy eating, menu planning, positive eating habits, and nutrition education for young children.
  • Document Design and Production (45 hours): Creating and editing documents related to Early Childhood Education topics.
  • Fieldwork II (20 hours): Onsite experience working with students, educators, and faculty supervisors, with virtual or on-site visits and evaluations.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or relevant diplomas/certifications in a pertinent field, with industry experience related to the courses.
  • Teaching experience is an asset.

Compensation

Hourly rate ranges from $96.56 to $134.75.
