ScanDesigns an established furniture company is looking for an experienced full time Warehouse Manager for our busy Distribution Center in Coquitlam, BC. The operation includes shipping and receiving containers from our suppliers, organizing our local deliveries and many other details to make the systems run efficiently.Position Responsibilities* Leading and managing the performance of our warehouses with the distribution of retail and eCommerce merchandise to all warehouses, retail stores, and customers.* Implement and develop a distribution strategy to ensure that our warehouses are optimized to run smoothly and efficiently regardless of season, releases, or sales volumes.* Leading and managing the Warehouse team leads to ensure they are working collaboratively and efficiently* Implement and develop a safety program to meet regulatory requirements to achieve* Identify opportunities to improve warehouse systems and processes, and cost efficiencies.* Hire and oversee training and supervision of staff* Work Term: Permanent* Work Language: English* Hours: 40+ hours per weekMinimum Requirements* Bachelor?s degree or Diploma* Warehouse experience* Knowledge of warehouse procedures* Strong problem-solving skills* Equipment experienceBenefits* Extended health coverage that includes medical, dental after probation* Basic life insurance, disability and wellness programs* Bonus programs that include annual performanceJob Type: Full-timePay: From $7,000.00 per monthBenefits:* Dental care* Extended health care* On-site parking* Store discountFlexible language requirement:* French not requiredSchedule:* 8 hour shift* Day shift* Monday to Friday* Weekends as neededExperience:* Management: 5 years (required)* Warehouse : 5 years (required)Work Location: In person
