Job Responsibilities:

Join AltaGas's Energy Exports team as an Analyst, focusing on managing waterborne LPG movements from North America to Asia. Key responsibilities include:

  1. Collaborating with stakeholders to meet commercial commitments.
  2. Supporting marine logistics, including freight and demurrage calculations.
  3. Tracking and reporting logistics costs, monitoring KPIs, and forecasting inventory and product flows.
  4. Scheduling product flows and intercompany movements.
  5. Assisting traders with contract execution and tracking.
  6. Communicating with third parties such as refineries, customers, and brokers.
  7. Providing data for management decisions and developing economic models.
  8. Supporting accounting processes related to revenues and costs.
Candidate Requirements:
  • Degree in Commerce, Economics, Supply Chain, Finance, or Accounting.
  • 1-5 years of experience in the Energy Industry; knowledge of rail/scheduling and accounting/finance is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including financial modeling), Word, Outlook; Allegro ETRM experience is a plus.
  • Attention to detail, ability to prioritize, multitask, and meet deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills.
  • Motivated team player capable of working in a fast-paced environment.
