Job Title: Inventory Specialist

The Inventory Specialist is responsible for managing the vehicle inventory at the facility within company timelines. Using company-provided tools, the specialist will document vehicle conditions, including comprehensive inventories and photographs. They will also manage the flow of traffic in the receiving area to ensure timely processing of vehicles, and facilitate the customer experience by offering solutions aligned with Copart policies.

  1. Monitor, maintain, and organize the receiving area.
  2. Operate cameras and handheld inventory devices to process incoming vehicles.
  3. Assess the operational capability of motor vehicles.
  4. Complete vehicle inspection inventories (TLEs) as required.
  5. Maintain inventory of all materials used.
  6. Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety requirements.
Required Skills & Experience
  1. Must be 18 years or older.
  2. Ability to work outdoors in all seasons.
  3. General automotive knowledge or mechanical aptitude preferred.
  4. Basic computer proficiency, with the ability to operate handheld devices preferred.
  5. Strong attention to detail.
  6. Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  7. Driver's license preferred.
  8. Bilingual skills are a plus.
