Genesis Downtown Vancouver is currently looking to fill the position of Parts Advisor.

Summary

Under the responsibility of the Parts Manager, the Parts Advisor is responsible for prompt and courteous servicing of all parts customers. Parts Advisors sell replacement parts. In most cases, customers and technicians know exactly which part they need. In these cases, consultants just find the part in the inventory or order the part requested. In other cases, the advisor must help customers and technicians determine which part(s) they need. They look at old parts and ask questions about the vehicle or part. Using this information, they often can determine the necessary replacement parts. Then, they look up the stock number for the parts using computers or catalogs. Once all the parts are identified, consultants prepare sales slips and calculate charges. They may also need to order necessary parts to fill an order.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years experience in Parts Department.
