Tasks and Responsibilities

1. Maintain in-depth knowledge of the company's strategic business plans, focusing on Data and Cloud Architecture.
2. Provide architectural consulting, guidance, and support to internal teams including Project Management, Business Solutions, and Security.
3. Document and develop comprehensive knowledge of SCIC's Information and Technology portfolio.
4. Develop and maintain a cloud-focused roadmap.
5. Analyze existing architecture and strategize for future developments to meet evolving needs.
6. Research emerging technologies and platforms to support infrastructure development, offering cost-effective and flexible solutions.
7. Collaborate with users and management to define business requirements and how technology can support internal systems and processes.
8. Review and evaluate IT projects; create architectural artifacts like models, flowcharts, and blueprints.
9. Align IT planning and strategy with corporate goals.
10. Develop, document, communicate, and enforce technology standards and policies.
11. Ensure solutions are scalable, secure, adaptable, and consider the changing technology landscape; implement backup procedures.

Qualifications

The required knowledge and skills are typically obtained through a university degree in Computer Science plus three years of relevant IT Architect experience, or a diploma in Computer Science plus four years of relevant experience.
