INTRODUCTION:

The Executive Assistant (EA) for ScotiaMcLeod contributes to the overall success of ScotiaMcLeod by supporting the management team in ensuring specific individual goals, plans, initiatives are executed / delivered.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
In this role you will:

-Champion a customer focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems and knowledge.
-Coordinate and schedule meetings by:

-Assessing and seeking out the most appropriate venue for meetings
-Arranging bookings for boardrooms / conference rooms
-Arranging for equipment and materials for meetings as required
-Booking travel arrangements as needed
-Provide high level administrative support to a group of Canadian Wealth Management executives, requiring discretion, confidentiality, a good understanding of technical and business vocabulary, and a detailed knowledge of the organization's operations, procedures, and people.
-Monitor, review, and approve standard expenditures to ensure the activities of the office are conducted within established budgets.


DO YOU HAVE THE SKILLS

-Sound knowledge of business/bank terminology and departmental procedures
-High level of discretion required when dealing with confidential matters
-Strong computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Visio)
-Strong communication and interpersonal skills, works well in a team environment
-Strong time management and organization skills
