Job Description

We are seeking a motivated Labourer to join our team. This role is vital for our daily operations and offers an exciting hands-on work opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Receive, sort, and organize non-ferrous metals
• Classify non-ferrous metals and determine material types
• Weigh and track materials accurately
• Perform general maintenance of premises
• Ensure equipment is in good condition
• Enter data into the RECY system
• Provide excellent customer service
• Assist with torch cutting if needed
• Prepare shipments and receive equipment using a forklift
• Maintain a safety-oriented mindset

Qualifications:

• Must speak French
• Experience operating a forklift
• Experience in metal recycling
• Ability to work indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions
• Good physical fitness
• Teamwork skills
• Excellent attendance and safety record

Work Schedule:

• Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM; Saturday 8:00 AM to noon
• 40 hours per week
• Full-time, permanent position
