Primary function

The Corporate Business Analyst (CBA) will be working closely with the CRM Replacement Project team and stakeholders. The CBA will be responsible for documenting the system requirements (functional, non-functional and technical) and support the development of the detailed specifications, liaising with the technical team during the build stage to ensure that the system solution/build meets the business purpose and functional use. Further, support QA and UAT testing activities.

Reports to: Manager, Technical Delivery and System Design, CRM Replacement Project

Key accountabilities
• Gathering/documenting the business requirements, in preparation for functional design specification writing
• Defining specifications to meet the business objectives and of the product being designed or built
• Conduct business process reviews, journey mapping, user story mapping, and user experience validation based on the project need
• Evaluating business output requirements and formats to be able to determine and recommend the most appropriate system design solution to address the functional requirement
• Analyze and may be asked to evaluate existing and new systems to verify a match to the business requirement.
• Construct workflow charts, process maps, and system diagrams; studying system capabilities; writing system specifications, and other supporting architectural documents
• Working closely with project team and stakeholders to scope out the project system requirements specifically as it related to business system solution change and technical specifications
• Preparing test case scenarios to support UAT testing activities
• Supporting QA team during testing cycles/coordinating UAT, based on project need
• Flexible to other responsibilities within role.

Required skills & experience
• Bachelor's degree in IT, Business, or related field
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a business analyst role
• Minimum 2 years of experience working in Agile environment and familiar with Scrum and Kanban frameworks
• Minimum 2 years of experience managing requirements for one or more of the following applications: Salesforce, MS Office 365, MS Dynamics 365, Oracle PeopleSoft CRM, Oracle Service Cloud and Intelligent Advisor
• Strong understanding of CRM components such as user management and access control, client/task lifecycle management, data lifecycle management, workflow automation, scheduling, integration, document management, security/compliance, and reporting
• Proficiency with tools such as Figma and/or Visio to develop and manage user story map, user journey maps, process flows, and technical/system diagrams
• Excellent data manipulation and analysis skills using SQL and Excel
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Excellent communication and technical writing skills
Asset:
• Certification in Business Analysis (e.g., CBAP and/or PMI-PBA)
• Familiarity with UI/UX principles
• Experience building reports and requirements for Power BI/Tableau
• Experience managing requirement for AI solutions such as predictive analytics, natural language processing, intelligent automation/recommendation, and chatbots
• Proficient with project management tools Jira and Confluence
