Network Consulting Engineer (Data center and Service Provider)

We are seeking an Onsite Consulting Engineer for an enterprise network provider, to support their clients' Network Optimization for core networks and data centers. You will be acting as the face of the company to the customer. You'll work in a fast-paced, high-impact environment, leveraging broad networking knowledge to build trusted customer relationships and deliver solutions that drive business outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Lead customer engagements, providing technical expertise and support for complex network and data center solutions.
• Collaborate with internal teams and customers to design, configure, and optimize Cisco products and services.
• Mentor and develop junior engineers, sharing knowledge and best practices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve critical customer issues, ensuring high service standards.
• Influence solution architectures and drive technology transitions for customers.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• BS in a technical field (CS / EE preferred) or equivalent, plus 8+ years of relevant experience.
• Cisco certifications (CCNA or higher; DevNet preferred).
• Expertise in core networking and data center technologies (IS-IS, OSPF, MPLS, Segment Routing, Nexus, UCS, etc.).
• Strong knowledge of automation, orchestration, and security.
• Client-facing experience with the ability to work onsite 3-4 days / week.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
