Description

The Courier/Sorter Relief is a hybrid role. The shift may involve working on the dock, loading and unloading packages from conveyor belts and trucks, or delivering packages to customers. This position is called in as needed to cover shifts on a part-time basis and does not follow a regular schedule; weekly hours vary.

Responsibilities

• Pick up and deliver customer packages to meet daily schedules
• Scan packages/mail received, delivered, or returned to the depot at day's end
• Resolve issues on the road in collaboration with Dispatch and customers
• Conduct daily vehicle inspections using a package scanner and E-DVIR
• Unload curbside vehicles
• Load line haul trailers to meet scheduled departures
• Perform scanning, cubing, and reweighing tasks

Experience

• At least 3 years of driving experience with a clean driver’s abstract
