Reporting to the Director of Cybersecurity Operations, the Cybersecurity Architecture Expert is responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting Agropur's critical security operations. This subject matter expert defines controls, governance frameworks, and security solutions in close collaboration with internal teams and partners.

• Salary range 007 : $111,300 to $139,100(Salary will be determined based on skills, education, training & experience related to the position).

What's involved in this role :

• Collaborate with IT teams to integrate security principles from the design phase of systems, networks, and applications, ensuring controls such as access and encryption are embedded;
• Identify vulnerabilities using threat modeling and risk assessments and recommend effective mitigation measures against cyber threats;
• Define the strategic cybersecurity vision, develop technology roadmaps, and guide the security team in applying best practices;
• Ensure technical and regulatory compliance of solutions using frameworks such as NIST, and validate security configurations for critical infrastructure tools (NextGen Firewalls, XDR, EDR, PAM, SIEM, etc.);
• Participate in technology projects to ensure alignment with security architecture, while supporting operations as needed in incident resolution;
• Design, update, and maintain security documentation (architecture diagrams, procedures, standards), and ensure strict lifecycle management of cybersecurity technologies;
• Evaluate technologies, vendors, and software versions to recommend innovative security solutions, while staying informed of emerging threats and trends.

What you need to join our team :

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or equivalent;
• Over 7 years of in-depth experience in information security, with at least 3 years in designing security architectures;
• Security certification from a recognized organization (ISACA, ISC2, CISSP);
• Experience with architecture methodologies such as SABSA, Zachman, and / or TOGAF;
• Knowledge of the NIST and MITRE framework;
• Expert understanding of web and cloud security standards, security architecture, and application security best practices;
• Hands-on experience or deep understanding of managing security infrastructure (e.g., NextGen Firewalls, WAFs, XDR, EDR, SIEM, log management technologies);
• Experience designing and deploying cybersecurity applications and infrastructure in public cloud services;
• Mastery in implementing and adhering to security standards and regulatory requirements;
• Proven experience in deploying and managing security tools and technologies effectively;
• Experience authoring technical content such as white papers, technical articles or blogs, and security architecture diagrams.
