We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our game development team. About the role

What You’ll Do :

1. Design and implement scalable, reliable, and maintainable technologies across our entire stack, including database, server, and client code for iOS and Android platforms, for both existing and new game development.
2. Manage the complexities of maintaining and expanding a mature codebase, including optimizing performance, debugging live issues, and delivering new content regularly.
3. Review feature requests to assess feasibility, design comprehensiveness, and associated risks.
4. Analyze performance data for our mobile games and respond accordingly.
5. Collaborate closely with software engineers, product teams, graphics teams, and game designers to define our next-generation games.

What You’ll Need :

1. Strong coding skills with the ability to produce clean, maintainable, bug-free code.
2. Proficiency in reading and debugging code, identifying edge cases, inefficiencies, or security issues.
3. Broad understanding of game programming principles.
4. Quick learner of new technologies and programming languages.
5. Ability to solve complex problems with simple, optimal solutions.
6. Collaborative attitude and responsiveness towards team members.
7. Effective communication skills with artists, designers, and engineers.
8. B.S. in Computer Science or related field.

Nice to Have, but Not Necessary :

1. Experience creating or working on live-service titles.
2. Experience in iOS, Android, or social gaming.
3. Experience with the Unity platform.
4. Experience with Git, AWS, and MySQL.
5. Insight into what makes mobile games successful as a regular player.
6. Fluency in C#, Golang, and Python.
