Who You Are:

You’re a generalist at heart, but with deep technical expertise. You’re comfortable working across the stack—one day, you’re debugging a tricky SQL query, the next, you’re tweaking a Kubernetes deployment in AWS. You know when to optimize for performance and when to optimize for maintainability. You care deeply about building resilient, scalable systems, and you take pride in delivering software that just works.

Your Next Challenge:

• Build and maintain applications written in Ruby on Rails, React and Typescript
• Maintain existing infrastructure in AWS through Terraform
• Work with Kubernetes to manage and scale our applications
• Own the end-to-end lifecycle of features—from design to deployment
• Optimize performance where it matters and refactor where it makes sense
• Identify and reduce technical debt before it becomes a problem
• Collaborate with the team to continuously improve our processes and systems

What You'll Need:

• 5+ years' experience in any of the following: TypeScript, Ruby on Rails, React
• 3+ years' hands-on experience with AWS services and infrastructure
• A demonstrated deep understanding of Kubernetes and containerized deployments
• A mindset for automation, scalability, and reliability
• The ability to see the big picture—how everything fits together
• Pragmatism—you know when to go deep and when to move fast
• A love for clean, maintainable code and a well-structured system

$103,500 - $149,000 a year

The starting salary range for this position at the time of posting is USD $103,500 to USD $149,000 per annum. Getty Images has different ranges in different locations within the US, and this range represents the starting base pay range. Actual compensation will depend on factors including but not limited to: qualifications, geographic location, skills, experience, certification, business needs, performance, and level of responsibility along with the requirements of the position.
