About The Role

The Personal Lines Sales team is looking for an energetic and passionate Insurance Client Executive / Insurance Broker who will leverage their industry knowledge and experience to offer customized personal insurance coverage that will protect, comfort, and recover, providing peace of mind to new and existing clients.

What You’ll Do
  • Providing expert advice, recommendations, and counseling to prospects about their personal insurance coverage tailored to their needs
  • Meeting and / or exceeding individual sales targets and department goals
  • Preparing documentation for prospects: complete applications, issue insurance certificates, and process applications
  • Maintaining professional relationships with underwriters
  • Resolving concerns or complaints professionally, leveraging product and service knowledge
  • Quoting new prospects using Applied Rating Services or Company Portals
  • Representing the brokerage at industry functions when required
  • Staying current on industry changes, underwriting rules, and workflows
  • Participating in training initiatives
What You Bring
  • Provincial licenses such as Alberta General 1 or others
  • Over 2 years of industry experience, especially in personal lines
  • Experience with major domestic personal lines markets (e.g., Intact, Aviva, Economical)
  • Passion for sales and excellent quoting skills
  • Professional presentation and understanding of personal insurance sales environment
  • Experience in high-volume or fast-paced environments
  • Computer skills including Broker management systems (EPIC & ARS are assets)
  • Ability to learn NFP’s business model and communicate effectively in English and French (asset)
