Responsibilities

• Assist with all operational tasks within the store as delegated by the Store Manager, focusing on front-end and sales floor operations.
• Help with hiring, training, and developing store associates.
• Assist with store functions, including opening and closing procedures in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Help protect and secure company assets, including cash.
• Adhere to all policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
• Maintain a professional and friendly environment for customers, staff, and supervisors.
• Ensure all store areas meet company standards, including recovery efforts.
• When the Store Manager is absent, take supervisory responsibility for hourly associates.
• Process directives related to store activities, including merchandise receipt and returns.
• Assist in managing staffing and sales effectiveness daily.
• Oversee cashiering activities and ensure proper cash handling practices.
• Manage promotional displays and seasonal areas.
• Coordinate signage and merchandise replenishment.
• Assist in creating weekly schedules and managing store supplies and expenses.
• Maintain checkout areas and ensure product displays are replenished daily.
• Prior retail and management experience preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lift and transport up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work effectively in a high-energy team environment.
