Job Summary
The
Analyst, Credit & Collections is the main point of contact for our Customers, Sales Representatives, District Sales Managers and Distribution teams for the Direct Delivery channel. This is an important role to help build relationships and improve cashflow for the company.
We are looking for a hard-working and leadership-oriented
Analyst to manage multiple requests from our customers and partners and ensure to provide the best customer service experience. Analyst responsibilities include contact management, utilizing our tools and programs and being a great team player.
To be successful as an Analyst, you should be able to multitask between the different types of requests. Ultimately, an exceptional candidate will have experience in an account reconciliation and collections setting, and most importantly, a demonstrated excellence in communication and customer service skills.
Job Responsibilities
- Manage the recording and collection of direct delivery accounts receivable in Canada
- Perform account reconciliations to identify unpaid amounts on customer accounts
- Maintain a sound credit policy which keeps credit losses and slow collection of receivables at a minimum, ensuring maximization of sales revenue
- Clear unapplied cash to customer accounts ensuring up to date payment information
- Derive timely resolution of disputes through negotiation and order freezing
- Accurate tracking of customer responses and payment agreements into database
- Assess risks against potential sales through credit assessment and rating tools
- Determine risks and opportunities for A/R collection
Job Qualifications
- University Degree required or 3-5 years business experience in A/R, credit collections or accounting
- Highly organized with the ability to manage priorities
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Bilingual is required (English and French)
- Solid Computer Skills - Microsoft Excel, Outlook, SAP is a plus
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- High attention to detail; highly analytical and problem-solving ability
