The City of Belleville is seeking a Customer Service Representative to join the People and Corporate Services Department. This temporary full-time position involves providing exceptional customer service at City Hall, handling inquiries, and assisting with parking services. Ideal candidates will have a background in office administration and strong communication skills.
The City of Belleville, known as the ‘Friendly City’, is located at the mouth of the Moira River where it meets the picturesque Bay of Quinte. Experience world-class fishing, boating, cycling, and walking along approximately 14 kilometers of waterfront trails. Situated between Toronto and Montreal, and less than one hour from the U.S. border, the City truly is at the center of it all.
Currently, the City of Belleville has an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated, strategic, and dynamic individual to join the People and Corporate Services Department as a Customer Service Representative.

PURPOSE AND SCOPE : Act as the first point of contact for all callers to the City's main switchboard and provide information in response to general inquiries. Provide customer service and assist the public with complaints and queries relating to parking violations, parking permits and parking enforcement policies. Maintain the Parking Information System and related records and generate various reports associated with the processing and collection of payments for parking tickets including notices of default and other legislative procedures. Act as the alternate to the primary City Hall Receptionist.
