The Environmental and Engineering Services Department, Traffic Engineering Division of the City of London, is seeking an Engineering Student to assist with work in the division. The student should have a good work ethic, relevant university courses, and specific knowledge related to engineering.
The student will perform duties under the guidance of Engineering Staff, including:
Currently enrolled full-time in an engineering, engineering technology, or transportation planning/design program.
Must be a current student requiring this placement for graduation.
Experience with public interaction, handling complaints, and conflict resolution is an asset.
Strong interpersonal, teamwork, and communication skills, with an emphasis on inclusivity and respect.
Interest or experience in data analysis is an asset.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Strong report writing and presentation skills are desirable.
Comfortable working in an office environment at City Hall, near public transit and Western University.
Valid G Class driver’s license (personal vehicle not required).
Salary range: $22.44 - $26.17 per hour
This is a temporary full-time position for up to 12 months.
September 2025 - September 2026
Monday - Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
