A leading company in the financial technology sector is seeking an Accounting Lead to enhance their financial reporting processes. The role involves leading cross-functional initiatives, improving accounting practices, and ensuring compliance with US GAAP. As an Accounting Lead, you have in-depth knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles, proficiency in accounting systems, and strong motivation to drive processes that contribute to the achievement of an efficient monthly / quarterly / annual close and financial reporting processes. You pay great attention to detail and the ability to deliver results under deadlines, as well as working effectively cross-functionally in a rapidly changing environment. Above all, you have tremendous problem-solving and communication skills that you are looking to utilize in support of Affirm’s continued growth and pursuit of our mission to deliver honest financial products that improve lives.

Employees new to Affirm typically come in at the start of the pay range. Affirm focuses on providing a simple and transparent pay structure which is based on a variety of factors, including location, experience, and job-related skills.
Base pay is part of a total compensation package that may include monthly stipends for health, wellness, and tech spending, and benefits (including 100% subsidized medical coverage, dental and vision for you and your dependents). In addition, employees may be eligible for equity rewards offered by Affirm Holdings, Inc. (parent company).
CAN base pay range per year : $90,000 - $130,000.

Affirmers in proximal roles have the flexibility to work remotely, but will occasionally be required to work out of their assigned Affirm office. A limited number of roles remain office-based due to the nature of their job responsibilities.
