Overview

We are seeking a Nuclear Technologist to support the design, testing, and implementation of mechanical/electro-mechanical systems for nuclear applications. You will work closely with engineering teams and customers to deliver equipment that meets rigorous process and safety requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Review and support system designs, drawings, and documentation
  2. Become a process expert to guide equipment design and integration
  3. Participate in risk assessments, proof-of-concept testing, and design reviews
  4. Lead or assist in system commissioning, verification, and on-site support
  5. Prepare test plans, reports, and safety/quality documentation
  6. Support compliance with CSA B51/N285 standards and NQA procedures
  7. Coordinate with suppliers and contribute to continuous improvement efforts

Qualifications

  • Experience in nuclear tooling/equipment and field support is an asset
  • Strong understanding of machine design and structured problem-solving
  • Effective communicator and team player
  • Familiarity with CSA/NQA quality standards
