Community Christian School is seeking a dynamic and dedicated Grade 7 / 8 Teacher to join our team starting in September 2025. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a vibrant Christian community where students are equipped to be firmly rooted in their faith and prepared to serve in all areas of life.

Position Overview: We are seeking a qualified and enthusiastic educator to teach our Grade 7 / 8 class. The successful candidate will foster a positive learning environment that encourages academic excellence, spiritual growth, and the development of each student's God-given potential.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Plan and deliver engaging lessons that integrate a Christian worldview across all subject areas
2. Build strong relationships with students, families, and colleagues
3. Collaborate with the school team to develop and implement curriculum
4. Assess student progress and provide meaningful feedback
5. Model Christian character and nurture students in their faith journey

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor of Education degree with certification in Ontario (or eligibility)
2. Commitment to the mission and vision of Community Christian School
3. Experience teaching in junior/intermediate grades
4. Strong interpersonal and communication skills
5. Ability to integrate faith and learning
6. Special Education Specialist AQ or experience supporting diverse learning needs (an asset)
