We’re seeking a strategic and technologically skilled Commercial Technology Lead to join our Canada Growth & Execution team. This role will report to the Senior Director of Growth and Execution and collaborate closely with our Sales and Digital/IT teams. You will be instrumental in unlocking tech-driven commercial performance, leading the digital transformation for our Sales function within the Mondelez Canada business unit. Your responsibilities include designing and implementing Digital and Data products to ensure adoption and value realization, and influencing change across IT and Business stakeholders to develop a sales digital roadmap aligned with other departments such as RGM, Retail, Finance, and Marketing.

You will provide compelling insights, engage with customers and key account teams, identify category opportunities supporting growth or risk mitigation, and utilize consumer, shopper, and category metrics to analyze and translate data sources.

How you will contribute

You will:

  • Develop and execute selling programs related to your assigned Category's innovation, distribution, merchandising, and promotional plans.
  • Serve as the key link between Customer Business Teams (CBTs) and the Category Innovation, Marketing, and Equity teams to ensure strategy alignment with customer needs.
  • Build category and customer plans collaboratively with Category teams, Insights, and CBTs.
  • Establish yourself as the internal Category expert, creating compelling, actionable, and measurable plans.
  • Provide thought leadership on brand and category initiatives, including promotional strategies and budget planning.
  • Lead the delivery of category dashboards and fundamentals, recommending corrective actions to meet targets.
  • Continuously assess baseline volume opportunities and risks, leading initiatives to optimize performance.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Own the Sales Tech Stack: Lead strategy design and ongoing improvement of systems.

2. Influence & Enable Commercial Effectiveness: Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and RGM teams to understand needs and deliver tech solutions that enhance visibility, efficiency, and conversion.

3. Drive Global Solutions with Local Fit: Deploy and scale global technology platforms with necessary local adaptations.

4. Champion Data & Insights: Integrate commercial data sources to support analytics, dynamic pricing, and segmentation strategies.

5. Partner with IT and Vendors: Manage technology vendors and work with cross-functional IT teams to ensure project success and system health.

6. Foster Change Adoption: Act as a change agent, partnering with business leads to ensure tools are adopted and impactful.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in commerce, Information Systems/Technology, Business Analytics, or related field

• 8+ years of experience in Sales Technology, Commercial Operations, or IT

• Proven success with CRM, TPM, RGM, or Retail platforms

• Strong stakeholder management and business process mapping skills

• Digital proficiency in Data Analytics, AI, Data Visualization, Cloud Technologies, Data Modeling, ETL, Data Governance, and related tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, SQL, Jira, ADO)

• Deep understanding of sales and retail processes to drive growth through digital transformation
