We’re on the hunt for a strategic and tech-savvy Commercial Technology Lead to join our Canada Growth & Execution team, to help fuel our global snack domination. Reporting into the Senior Director of Growth and Execution and partnering closely with our Sales and Digital/IT organization – This role will serve as the secret ingredient in unlocking tech-powered commercial performance. You will lead the digital transformation journey for our Sales function for the Mondelez Canada business unit with a growth mindset. Drive the design and implementation of Digital and Data products to ensure adoption and value realization. And Influence change across IT and Business stakeholders to deliver a Sales digital roadmap that aligns with other cross-functional dependencies, such as RGM, Retail, Finance, and Marketing.

You provide compelling insights and engage with customers and key account teams. You identify and track category opportunities that support growth or defend risk and apply your insights for category, shopper, and consumer metrics when analyzing and translating data sources.

How you will contribute

You will:

  • Responsible for the development and execution of selling programs related to their assigned Category's innovation, distribution, merchandising, and promotional plans

  • Key linkage between the Customer Business Teams (CBTs) and the Category Innovation, Marketing and Equity teams to ensure that our strategies and tactics are aligned to the needs of our Customers

  • Responsible for building category and customer plans for the assigned Category, working collaboratively with Category teams, Insights, and Customer Business Teams (CBTs)

  • Be seen as the Category expert internally and create compelling, actionable & measurable category plans

  • Provide thought leadership internally & externally around brand & category initiatives (promotional strategy / budget planning)

  • Leading delivery of category dashboard / fundamentals and recommending corrective actions to ensure targets are met

  • Ongoing assessment of critical baseline volume opportunities / risks and lead initiatives to optimize category performance

Key Responsibilities:

1. Own the Sales Tech Stack: Lead the strategy design and continuous improvement of systems.

2. Influence & Enable Commercial Effectiveness : Collaborate with Sales, Marketing and RGM teams to understand business needs and deliver tech solutions that drive visibility, efficiency, and conversion

3. Drive Global Solutions with Local Fit: Deploy and scale global technology platforms with local business unit customization where needed.

4. Champion Data & Insights: Integrate commercial data sources to support predictive analytics, dynamic pricing, and customer segmentation strategies. 5. Partner with IT and Vendors: Manage technology vendors and work with cross-functional IT teams to ensure successful project delivery and system health.

6. Foster Change Adoption: Act as a change agent, partnering with business leads to ensure tools are adopted and embedded in ways that drive measurable impact.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in commerce, Information Systems/Technology, Business Analytics, or a related field

• 8+ years of experience in Sales Technology, Commercial Operations, or IT

• Proven success leading CRM, TPM, RGM or Retail Execution platform rollouts • Strong stakeholder management and business process mapping experience

• Digital Acumen: Experience leveraging Data and Analytics or AI in a business and/or commercial environment. Examples include understanding of Data Visualization, Databases, Cloud Technologies, Data Modelling, ETL, Data Layers, Data Governance, Master Data and Metadata Management. (Tableau, MS Power BI, SQL, CI/CD, Agile SDLC Methodologies, Jira, ADO, Data Cataloging and Data Observability tools)

• Commercial Acumen: Deep understanding of the sales and retail process to unlock growth. Leveraging data and sales expertise to influence digital transformation.
